ABOUT THIS RELEASE This is Release-1.0 of the PM7350 (S/UNI-DUPLEX) device driver. It is intended for use with PM7350 S/UNI-DUPLEX devices. The Release-1.0 is functionally complete and has been tested by PMC-Sierra as described in Section 3 below.

TESTING STATUS OF THIS RELEASE All S/UNI-DUPLEX device driver Application Programming Interface (API) functions have been tested in-house using the PM7350 on a proprietary PMCSierra, Inc. validation platform running VxWorksTM RTOS. Example code has been included in this release, demonstrating interoperability with this hardware and operating system. As of the publication date of this document, there are no known bugs in this release. However, the customer is advised to consult our web site (http://www.pmc-sierra.com) for any relevant errata that may have been issued subsequent to the publication of this document.

WHAT'S NEW IN THIS RELEASE?
Release-1.0: This release has the following changes since beta-1.1 release: Additions: 1. Added the utility function duplexResetFifos, which can be used to reset all Receive and Transmit logical channels, RXD1 and RXD2 Extract FIFOs, to the file dpx.c 2. Added (volatile UINT1 *) to sysDuplexRawRead and sysDuplexRawWrite macros in the file dpx_hw.h Modifications: 1. Added calls to utility FIFO reset function duplexResetFifos in two API functions: duplexInit and duplexReset 2. Changed compiler switch DEVICE_CHK_OVERRIDE to DPX_CSW_CHK_OVERRIDE in the file dpx_api.c Bug Fixes: 1. Fixed byte order in (VPI, VCI) and AAL5 packet length calculation in the sample code (see file dpx_test.c) 2. Fixed u1RxHssBocIntEn[10] index to be 1 in the sample code (see file dpx_test.c) 3. Corrected DPX_MASK_HSS_RX_CFG_HDSCR and DPX_MASK_HSS_RX_CFG_DDSCR definitions in the file dpx.h
