These changes will be incorporated into subsequent revisions of the device datasheet. Note: All page numbers are relevant to Revision 3 (R3) of the S/UNI-155 data book. DC CHARACTERISTICS Page 133: VPOL Output Low Voltage (PECL Only) VTERM Volts Note 6 - 1.5 -0.6 Page 134: 6. The PECL output low voltage is specified relative to the termination voltage at the end of the controlled impedance transmission line (VTERM). It is recommended that this termination voltage and TAVD2 be connected to the same supply as illustrated in figures 1 and 2 of this document. 6. The PECL output low voltage is specified relative to the termination voltage (VTERM) as illustrated below: Vcc R1 Zo R2 TXDO+/-, TXD+/Zo Zo TXDO+/-, TXD+/VTERM R1 // R2 = Zo R2 VTERM = * Vcc (R1 + R2) This specification is applicable when the S/UNI is operated as illustrated in figures 1 and 2 (a 50* controlled impedance environment with R1 = 59 * and R2 = 312 *). ______________________________________________________________________________________________ PMC-941105 Issue 3 2 of 2 May 5, 1995 |
