  sdxl005, SDXL010 compensated pressure sensors in a dip package january 1998/041 tope co., ltd. phone: +886-2-8228-0658, fax: +886-2-8228-0659 e-mail: tope@ms1.hinet.net, http://www.sensor.com.tw features 0 - 5 and 0 - 10 in. h 2 o low cost dip temperature compensated calibrated zero and span small size low noise high impedance for low power applications general description the sdxl series sensors will provide a very cost effective solution for pressure applications that require small size plus performance. these calibrated and temperature compensated sensors give an accurate and stable output over a 0c to 50c temperature range. this series is intended for use with non-corrosive, non- ionic working fluids such as air, dry gases and the like. the sdxl devices are specifically designed to measure low pressures. they feature a 0 to 5 and 0 to 10 in. h 2 o full scale range. the output of the bridge is ratiometric to the supply voltage and operation from any d.c. supply voltage up to +20 v is acceptable. the sdxl devices feature an integrated circuit sensor element and laser trimmed thick film ceramic housed in a compact sol- vent resistant case. the package is a double wide (i.e., 0.600" lead spacing) dual-inline- package. this is the same familiar package used by ic manufacturers except that is has a pressure port(s). the pc board area used by each dip is approximately 0.26 square inches. this extremely small size applications medical equipment computer peripherals pneumatic controls hvac equivalent circuit enables the use of multiple sensors in limited available space. the dip provides excellent corrosion resistance and isolation to external package stress. the dip mounts on a pc board like a standard ic with through-hole pins. the pins anchor the pressure sensor to the pc board and provide a more secure and stable unit than other types of packages. scale: 1 cm ? inch vent hole p2 4 +vs 1 gnd out - out + electrical connection top view note: the polarity identicated is for pressure applied to sdxlxxxg2: p2 (backward gage) sdxlxxxd4: p2 (backward gage) p2 out - out + gnd 1 p1 4 +vs +vs sdxlxxxg2 sdxlxxxd4
